Cornerstone Preschool is a privately owned and operated preschool serving children ages 3-5.  Founded in 1985, Cornerstone was the first child care center in Pinellas County to become NAEYC accredited in 1988.  We have been APPLE accredited since 2000, earning us a Gold Seal of Excellence from the Florida Department of Children and Families.   

     Cornerstone is fully licensed and is a State-approved Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) provider.  We model and encourage respect, responsibility, and family values in all of our students.  We are proud to provide high quality care and education to our children in a safe, family-friendly environment. 

     As an accredited preschool, we voluntarily meet higher standards than licensing requires in the areas of administration, staff credentials, curriculum, advocacy, community involvement, and staff to child ratios.  Accreditation earns us a "Gold Seal" designation from the Florida Department of Children & Families.
